Why can't you stop wanting to change me?
I was your best friend for ages
I support you through everything
Never once I did ask for anything
But now you won't accept me because I'm not who you want
What happened to the friend who wanted me to be happy
The friend who would come to my aid when needed
Why won't you see me as the boy I wanted you to
Why won't you accept I am the girl you want me to be
Please stop bullying me
Don't you see, how much you hurt me, why won't you let me be who I am
What happened to the friendship we used to had
Maybe if I never had opened my mouth
Then the pain wouldn't have come
How do I handle the pain when you used to be my best friend
Don't you see the scars you are causing me

awesome poem. i agree with the other reply. their loss not yours. i hope you were able to get through to your friend. so sad that we all have to go through the loss of friends because they are unwilling to accept the change that WE have to make. good luck to you
