Thanks to Mr Randall Garrison for picking up where Bill Siksay left off. parliament was disolved last year, squashing everything Bill Siksay had pushed for to give real rights to all transgender canadians. You can follow his progress on twitter from the link on his site. This is extremely important for All TG canadians. I was fired from 2 jobs after coming out and my employer finding out I am TS. A perfect example of why we need this to pass and become the LAW in Canada
I also cannot stress enough for all of you who are canadian, transgender or not. Email your local MP and tell them to vote yes(yay) on this bill. write often and tell everyone you know to do the same. Give a personal story of how Transgender discrimination affects you or somebody you know if you need to. Every email counts to help change the minds of those who are uneducated about trans people.
