Queer Respectable Grammar

Post by scush09 » Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:10 pm

My name is Sarah and I am currently taking a university course that deals with queer literature. I am writing my final research essay and am struggling with using grammar that is respectful to the queer community. What I mean by this is to avoid using words such as "her" and "him" but use gender neutral terms as well that still make sense in my contexts. I was wondering if anyone knew if gender neutral terms can be found on any specific websites? If not I would consider creating a "gender neutral grammar" type website that would help young writers write about queer literature in a respectful way.

I don't know if this has the information you need but it might have a few things to read (in our Wiki Page) https://tgchatroom.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page but you ask a good question (salute)
