mm poem (broken)

my soul is broken and
the pieces are jaded and
faded from existance.
i can still feel your touch and
the sound of silence that engulfed me
each time you came near
haunts me.
the unbearable pain that fallowed
gave me an unforgettable
sense of helplessness
with only the moon and the stars
as witnesses i stand
frozen while wandering hands
leave invisible scars
on innocent skin
the silence that surrounded us
was broken by the piercing sound
of my screams
the pain i felt was intense and
as my will to fight faded
time stood still and all i could hear
was the sound of your voice.
